Built to be Found. From Day One.
Every WordPress website I build starts with a strong technical SEO foundation. If you want to go further, two additional services are available: a one-time SEO Setup and optional ongoing monthly optimization.
A technical foundation that supports search visibility
This work is included in every website I build. Each item is implemented where it’s applicable to the site’s purpose and audience.
Performance & Image Optimization
Fast-loading pages with optimized images, configured caching, and a hosting setup appropriate for WordPress.
Mobile-Responsive Design
The site works cleanly on phones, tablets, and desktop — actually tested at all breakpoints, not just technically responsive.
Clean URL Structure
Logical, readable URLs with no unnecessary query strings — consistent hierarchy and clean slugs throughout the site.
Proper Heading Structure
One H1 per page, logically nested H2s and H3s — no skipped levels, no heading tags used for styling.
XML Sitemap & Indexing
Auto-generated sitemap submitted to search engines. Robots.txt configured correctly — no accidentally blocked pages, no accidental noindex.
Schema Markup
Structured data that helps search engines understand what the site represents — the right schema type for the site’s purpose, correctly implemented.
Open Graph Tags
Social sharing metadata so the site generates a proper preview when linked on Facebook, LinkedIn, or iMessage.
Analytics & Search Console
GA4 installed and Google Search Console connected — so the site is being tracked from the day it goes live.
Keyword research, on-page optimization, and local SEO. Done once, done right.
If the technical foundation is the floor, the SEO Setup package builds the walls — mapping keywords to pages, optimizing titles and meta descriptions, and making sure local search signals are in place before traffic starts arriving.
- Keyword research — 10–20 target keywords mapped to specific pages
- Page-by-page title tags and meta descriptions written for target terms
- Extended schema markup — FAQ, Service, or other relevant types for key pages
- Internal linking review — confirm priority pages are well-linked from other content
- Google Business Profile audit — review the current listing, written recommendations
- NAP consistency check — name, address, and phone verified across key directories
- Content gap notes — written summary of pages or topics the site is missing
- Handoff document — one-page summary of what was done and what to monitor
Quoted by project after a brief intake conversation. Typically completed within 1–2 weeks of website launch. Does not include GBP profile edits, ongoing content, or monthly reporting.
Continuous work to grow search visibility over time.
SEO isn’t a one-time project — rankings grow when there’s consistent activity. The monthly retainer covers regular content, local signals, and ongoing monitoring so the site keeps moving in the right direction.
- Monthly keyword ranking check against target terms
- Google Search Console + Analytics review — traffic, clicks, and crawl errors
- One content piece — blog post, FAQ page, or location page each month
- One Google Business Profile post — event, offer, or update
- Monthly technical check — broken links, crawl errors, new issues
- Monthly summary report — what changed, what was done, what’s next
Requires the SEO Setup package first (or equivalent prior work). Retainer scope and pricing set at the start of the engagement. Quarterly strategy review included.
